The High School Curriculum emphasises teamwork, with teachers serving as facilitators for group projects, discussions, and experimentation in addition to hands-on learning opportunities. The labs for science and maths support the growth of a scientific mindset. The focus is on investigation and learning. Improved comprehension of the disciplines is facilitated by project-based learning, field trips, and professional lectures. The curriculum is implemented with the NEP's suggestions in mind to guarantee that every student learns in an efficient manner. Students start to assert themselves at this point, and at RIS, we assist them develop their independence needs so they can become more confident and develop their skills. They have a platform to come up with and carry out ideas for the student body thanks to the Student Council.
At this level, students are responsible for upholding discipline, inspiring members of their house, organising committees to make sure certain responsibilities are completed, and preparing school events. At this point in their lives, students have never had more school spirit, and they compete in a variety of interschool events with tenacity, zeal, and a winning mentality. All of this shapes them into mature, prosperous people. We provide a variety of clubs where students can find and develop their skills. Students take delight in being involved in the activities of the school club they have chosen to belong to, a privilege that they are allowed to choose.
At this point, students receive career assistance to help them explore fields they will enjoy and excel in and to help them understand their own ability. In order to help students understand what different disciplines of study entail and what job chances they offer, panel discussions and expert talks are held. This assists them in selecting the appropriate course of study for their postsecondary education. Assessment & Evaluation According to the system established by the State Board, a student's promotion to the next grade is determined by their overall achievement over the course of the year. The student's performance is assessed using the C.C.E. (Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation) pattern, a system of student evaluation that approaches a student's growth holistically.
