Primary(GRADES 1 - 4)

The Primary department at Vishwa Chethana places a strong focus on enhancing students' conceptual grasp of key courses. Students can investigate teachings outside of textbooks with the aid of integrated and theme-based learning. At this point, logical reasoning, creative writing, and language instruction are introduced. We introduce kids to the joys and difficulties of self-directed learning at this stage. All nine of the intelligences are engaged and stimulated by us. Academic content is prioritised together with the growth of critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and effective speaking and writing abilities. To make concepts more engaging, enactments, narrative, and audio-visual aids are used in the teaching process. Children develop abilities such as reading, analysing, writing, investigating, reasoning, and communicating through comprehending concepts, posing questions, and formulating replies. They acquire robust academic abilities and enduring self-assurance during this procedure.

In addition to science, math, and English, kids start learning a second language. Their curriculum includes courses in computer science, visual and performing arts, general knowledge, and physical education. Experiential learning is promoted and supported at Vishwa Chethana via kid-friendly instructors, one-on-one time spent with students, group discussions and activities, and well chosen textbooks and teaching resources. Learning about oneself, other others, and the world around them—including abstract ideas—is recommended for children. Instead than teaching students to read and write by memory, the focus is on learning without worry. A favourite part of the school day is learning outside of the classroom. Along with these crucial lessons, children also learn how to share, follow basic rules, get along with other kids, and respect adult authority.

Assessments: A combination of written exams, in-class participation, oral presentations, projects, assignments, and other practical work are used to determine a student's final grade. After learning a lesson, there comes a test. Every two months, formative evaluations take place, and at the conclusion of each term, summative examinations take place. External Assessments: Our students also represent the country well by competing in national Olympiads and competitive examinations such as the ISTSE, Grey Matters, SOF, ASSET, HOMI BHABHA, Spell Bee, etc.
